Contribute evidence
Contribute to the evidence record
CAI maintains a governed evidence record. Public institutions, researchers and implementation partners can submit primary or authoritative material for review.
Submit
Provide the document, its issuing institution, date and source.
Verify
CAI confirms the document is authentic, retrievable and correctly attributed.
Adjudicate
The evidence is assessed against the written protocol for the relevant indicator and observation period.
Log
The decision, its rationale and the document's provenance are recorded in the evidence register.
Apply through governed release
If the decision changes a result, it is applied in the next numbered release, never silently.
- Evidence does not change a published release silently.
- Corrections are versioned and logged with their rationale.
- Post-cut-off evidence enters the appropriate observation period.
- A submission does not guarantee a benchmark change.
Submit a document
Primary documents are strongly preferred: the policy itself rather than an announcement about it, the budget performance report rather than a press release. News and third-party reporting are logged as corroboration only.
